Chevron Nigeria Fresh Graduate Recruitment for Earth Scientists

In 2009, total daily production in Nigeria averaged 480,000 barrels of crude oil (224,000 net), 111 million cubic feet of natural gas (48 million net) and 3,000 barrels of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) (1,000 net).
Through our principal subsidiary in Nigeria, Chevron Nigeria Ltd. (CNL), we operate and hold a 40 percent interest in 13 concessions operated under a joint-venture arrangement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), which owns a 60 percent interest.
Onshore and Near Offshore
Construction at the Olero Creek Flowstation project continued in 2009, with completion expected in 2011. An early-oil initiative, the Benin River Flowstation project, resulted in total production of 31,000 barrels per day (10,000 net) during 2009. In 2009, work continued on the replacement of the aging trunk line that brings the swamp’s crude oil production from Abiteye to Escravos. Project completion is expected in the fourth quarter 2010.

Experience One (1) -Two (2) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service).
